Proposes a constitutional amendment to Article VIII, Section 1 of the Florida Constitution requiring submission to state electors at the next general election or earlier special election.

Removes authority for Miami-Dade County's charter to select a property appraiser by means other than election or to alter the property appraiser's duties.

Prohibits Miami-Dade County charter from abolishing the property appraiser office or transferring its duties to another office.

Prevents Miami-Dade County charter from changing the property appraiser's term length or establishing any selection method other than by vote of county electors.

Amendment becomes effective January 8, 2019, if approved by voters.
