Amends section 790.06, Florida Statutes, to revise the list of prohibited locations for concealed weapons and openly carried handguns for licensees.

Removes the prohibition on carrying firearms at performing arts centers or legitimate theaters, eliminating this as a restricted location.

Renumbers the federal law prohibition from item 16 to item 15 as the final prohibited location.

Maintains existing prohibitions at police stations, courthouses, schools, polling places, airports (passenger terminals), and establishments serving alcohol.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
