Opposes United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, adopted on December 23, 2016, when the U.S. Permanent Representative abstained instead of vetoing the measure.

Objects to the resolution's characterization of Israeli settlements in Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem, as violations of international law and obstacles to peace.

Claims the resolution contradicts long-standing U.S. policy of opposing UN measures that impose solutions to final-status issues and represents a departure from decades of bipartisan agreement on Israel.

Requests repeal or fundamental alteration of Resolution 2334 to remove anti-Israel bias and ensure all final-status issues are resolved through direct, bilateral negotiations between the parties.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to the President, Congress, and the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C.
