Creates section 1004.097, Florida Statutes, exempting personal identifying information of applicants for president, vice president, provost, or dean positions at state universities and Florida College System institutions from public records disclosure requirements.

Exempts meetings held for identifying or vetting applicants for these positions from public meeting requirements, but allows meetings to establish qualifications and compensation frameworks to remain open unless they would disclose personal identifying information.

Requires institutions to release the names of final group applicants no later than 21 days before the date of the meeting where final employment action or vote is taken.

Makes personal identifying information of final group applicants subject to public records laws once their names are released pursuant to the 21-day requirement.

Establishes the exemptions as temporary under the Open Government Sunset Review Act, with provisions to repeal on October 2, 2022, unless the Legislature reenacts the exemptions; takes effect upon becoming law.
