Amends section 1003.575 of Florida Statutes to revise provisions regarding accessibility and use of assistive technology devices for persons with disabilities.

Requires that assistive technology assessments recommended by an individual education plan team be completed within 60 school days after the team's recommendation.

Mandates interagency agreements between the Early Steps Program, Division of Blind Services, Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services, Office of Independent Education and Parental Choice, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, and Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program to ensure assistive technology devices remain with individuals through transitions from early intervention through employment or independent living.

Requires interagency agreements to provide a framework for informing young persons with disabilities, families, educators, and employers about assistive technology utilization and coordination, and to establish a mechanism allowing young persons or parents to request devices remain with the individual through transitions.

Effective date: July 1, 2017.
