Creates Florida Statute 501.938 to regulate the use of professional titles and abbreviations by certified dangerous goods and hazardous materials professionals

Requires persons using the titles "certified dangerous goods professional" (CDGP), "certified hazardous materials manager" (CHMM), or "certified hazardous materials practitioner" (CHMP) to hold a current valid certificate from the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management or another approved institution

Prohibits misleading use of any certification marks awarded by the United States Patent and Trademark Office

Defines the three certification types based on demonstrated expertise: dangerous goods transportation and security (CDGP), hazardous materials risk assessment and management (CHMM), and hazardous materials handling in environmental protection, emergency response, and transportation/security (CHMP)

Establishes violations as deceptive and unfair trade practices under Florida's Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, effective July 1, 2017
