Amends section 97.0585 of Florida Statutes to add a public records exemption for all information concerning preregistered voter registration applicants who are 16 or 17 years of age.

Designates information about minor preregistered voters as confidential and exempt from public records requirements, restricting its use solely to voter registration purposes.

Makes the exemption retroactively applicable to information held by agencies before, on, or after the effective date of the exemption.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and specifies it shall stand repealed on October 2, 2022, unless reenacted by the Legislature.

Effective date is July 1, 2017.
