Defines "advanced well stimulation treatment" as well interventions using injected fluids at pressures that fracture rock formations (hydraulic or acid fracturing) or dissolve formations (matrix acidizing) to increase oil or gas production.

Excludes routine well cleanout work, well maintenance, removal of formation damage from drilling or production, and acidizing techniques used to maintain natural formation permeability from the definition.

Prohibits the performance of advanced well stimulation treatments in Florida and clarifies that permits for drilling or operating a well do not authorize such treatments.

Applies only to wells regulated under Florida Statutes chapter 377.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
