Authorizes the City of Tampa to enter into supplemental contracts with active firefighters and police officers in the City Pension Fund for Firefighters and Police Officers to comply with ch. 2015-39, Laws of Florida.

Establishes an unfunded defined contribution plan component for the pension fund, with the Board of Trustees authorized to adopt rules if the component becomes funded.

Current pension fund members must sign the supplemental contract by October 1, 2017, and cannot selectively accept or reject individual changes; new members joining after the act becomes law must sign a contract including these provisions as a condition of membership.

Confirms and ratifies the existing City of Tampa Firefighters and Police Officers Pension Contract and all prior amendments dating back to 1969.

Takes effect upon becoming law with standard severability provisions.
