Removes requirement for joint committee to determine standards for advanced registered nurse practitioner protocols and permits the Board of Nursing to review protocols and refer non-compliant ones to the Department of Health.

Modifies advanced registered nurse practitioner certification requirements by removing an obsolete qualification and requiring practitioners in group settings to enter into supervisory protocols with at least one physician in the group.

Authorizes the Board of Nursing to conduct onsite evaluations of nursing education programs and removes the requirement that certain nursing program graduates complete a preparatory course before licensure examination.

Creates new statute allowing pharmacists to administer long-acting antipsychotic medications by injection under physician direction if they complete an 8-hour continuing education course and work within an established protocol.

Requires completion of a 1-hour medical errors prevention course for orthotics and prosthetics licensure and renewal, and establishes alternative pathway for certain physical therapist assistant applicants enrolled between July 1, 2014 and July 1, 2016.
