Amends Florida statute 1003.42 to require public schools include information about the dangers and signs of human trafficking in comprehensive health education curriculum

Human trafficking education must cover warning signs of trafficking, terminology used by traffickers, red flags indicating a trafficker's malicious intent, websites popular with traffickers, and resources for students to seek help

Applies to students in grades 7 through 12 as part of the existing health education curriculum

Allows students to opt out of human trafficking education instruction by providing schools with a written note from their parent

Takes effect July 1, 2017
