Amends section 395.3038 to require the Agency for Health Care Administration to include hospitals meeting criteria for acute stroke ready centers on the state-listed stroke centers list alongside primary and comprehensive stroke centers.

Creates section 395.30381 establishing a statewide stroke registry to be operated by a private entity under contract with the Department of Health, subject to appropriation, to collect and maintain stroke performance data from all stroke centers.

Requires all acute stroke ready centers, primary stroke centers, and comprehensive stroke centers to regularly report nationally recognized stroke performance measures to the statewide stroke registry using a nationally recognized data collection platform.

Provides immunity from liability for stroke centers that report information to the statewide stroke registry.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
