Amends Florida Statutes section 951.26 to add a person with expertise in inmate reentry as a member of county public safety coordinating councils, appointed by the chairperson of the board of county commissioners to a 4-year term.

Adds the same inmate reentry expertise requirement for consortium public safety coordinating councils (multi-county), with appointment and term determined by the boards of county commissioners within the consortium.

Maintains existing membership requirements for public safety coordinating councils, which include state attorneys, public defenders, judges, sheriffs, probation administrators, substance abuse treatment directors, and community representatives.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
