Creates section 1003.481 of Florida Statutes to establish a framework for school garden programs in Florida schools.

Requires the Department of Education to collaborate with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to annually provide information to school districts about establishing school garden programs, including requirements, available state grants, and other resources.

Allows schools with garden programs to designate one day per week for students who qualify for free or reduced-price school lunch to select and receive produce from the garden, with procedures established by each school.

Exempts schools with garden programs from any statute or rule that prohibits students from receiving or consuming produce grown in the school garden through the program.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
