Amends Florida Statute 509.214 to require public food service establishments that include an automatic gratuity or service charge in meal prices to display notice on both the food menu and customer bill.

Requires establishments offering suggested gratuity or service charges to include on the bill a notice explaining the calculation method, including whether it is based on the pre-tax or post-tax amount.

Mandates disclosure of the percentage used to calculate the suggested gratuity or service charge on the bill provided to customers.

Takes effect January 1, 2018.
