Amends Florida Statutes section 90.5035 to revise the definition of "rape crisis center" to include agencies certified by or in the process of being certified by the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence.

Modifies the definition of "trained volunteer" to require completion of 30 hours of training in assisting victims of sexual violence as required by the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence, removing language limiting training to topics provided solely by individual rape crisis centers.

Maintains existing requirements that trained volunteers be supervised by rape crisis center staff and included on a volunteer list maintained by the center.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
