Reduces the Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board from 23 members to 21 members by removing 2 positions.

Changes the selection process for North and South county building directors from appointment by the Chairman to selection by the Chairman from a list submitted by the Florida Suncoast Chapter of the International Code Council and Building Officials Association of Florida.

Modifies appointment authority for certain contractor positions, changing from "appointed selected" to "appointed" language for consistency, and clarifies the consumer protection department member is selected by the county administrator.

Updates reference to fire marshals as "active members of the Pinellas County Fire Chiefs'" association rather than just "Tampa Bay Area Fire Marshals Association."

Takes effect upon becoming law.
