• Terminates the State Homes for Veterans Trust Fund (FLAIR number 20-2-692) and transfers all balances and revenues to the Operations and Maintenance Trust Fund within the Department of Veterans' Affairs.

• Directs the Department of Veterans' Affairs to pay outstanding debts of the terminated fund and the Chief Financial Officer to close the fund from state accounting systems.

• Reduces the income threshold for resident contributions from $105 to $35 per month for veterans' nursing home residents receiving pensions, compensation, or other income sources.

• Redirects voluntary contributions from motor vehicle registrations and driver licenses (formerly to separate State Homes for Veterans Trust Fund) to the consolidated Operations and Maintenance Trust Fund.

• Updates references in specialty license plate statutes (Florida Salutes Veterans, Marine Corps, Military Services, Support Our Troops, and U.S. Paratroopers plates) to direct revenues to the consolidated Operations and Maintenance Trust Fund.

• Effective date: July 1, 2017.
