HB 5401 - Pesticide Registration

• Removes the supplemental biennial registration fee for pesticides containing active ingredients with EPA-established food tolerance limits, effective July 1, 2017.

• Eliminates the $630 (odd-numbered years) and $315 (even-numbered years) supplemental fees previously charged for pesticides subject to food safety testing requirements.

• Removes the requirement for the department to biennially publish a list of pesticide active ingredients subject to the supplemental registration fee.

• Retains standard biennial registration fees of $700 per brand (odd years) and $350 per brand (even years), plus fees for special local need labels and experimental use permits.
