• Deletes the prohibition on openly carrying a handgun for concealed carry licensees.

• Removes the restriction preventing concealed carry licensees from carrying weapons into meetings of county, public school district, municipality, or special district governing bodies.

• Removes the restriction preventing concealed carry licensees from carrying weapons into meetings of the Legislature or its committees.

• Removes the restriction preventing concealed carry licensees from carrying weapons into career centers.

• Takes effect July 1, 2017.
