Amends section 626.84195, Florida Statutes to revise the definition of "proprietary business information" for title insurance agencies and insurers submitting information to the Office of Insurance Regulation.

Expands the definition of proprietary business information to include business plans, internal auditing controls and reports, external auditor reports for privately held companies, trade secrets, and financial information such as revenue data, loss expenses, gross receipts, taxes paid, capital investment, and employee wages.

Clarifies that proprietary business information remains confidential and exempt from public records requirements until it is publicly available or no longer treated as proprietary by the title insurance agency or insurer.

Allows aggregation and public disclosure of information from multiple title insurance agencies and insurers on an industrywide basis without revealing specific identities of individual agencies or insurers.

Removes the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2017 and eliminates the requirement for legislative reenactment to preserve the exemption; effective October 1, 2017.
