Adds four new definitions to veterinary practice law: "complementary or alternative and integrative therapies" (including acupuncture, homeopathy, chiropractic techniques, nutraceuticals, and physiotherapy), "physical examination," "veterinary dentistry," and "veterinary telemedicine"

Defines "veterinary telemedicine" as practice of veterinary medicine by a veterinarian following a physical examination and establishment of a valid patient relationship, with patient care provided through electronic communications

Expands the definition of "veterinary medicine" to explicitly include complementary or alternative veterinary medicine and veterinary telemedicine

Redefines the "veterinarian/client/patient relationship" terminology to "veterinarian relationship," "client relationship," or "patient relationship"

Requires veterinarians furnishing patient records or administering treatment to specifically reference "physical examination" rather than just "examination" in patient records provisions

Takes effect July 1, 2017
