Defines "violent felony" as a felony listed in s. 775.084(1)(c)1. or s. 948.06(8)(c) for purposes of the Victims of Wrongful Incarceration Compensation Act.

Disqualifies wrongfully incarcerated persons from compensation if they were convicted of any violent felony before or during their wrongful incarceration, or more than one non-violent felony before or during incarceration.

Allows wrongfully incarcerated persons placed on parole or community supervision to receive full compensation if they commit no more than one non-violent felony resulting in revocation, but makes them ineligible if they commit one violent felony or more than one non-violent felony.

Applies these changes only to persons determined to be wrongfully incarcerated on or after the effective date of October 1, 2017.
