Requires all mammography reports provided to patients in Florida to include information about breast density based on the Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System established by the American College of Radiology.

Mandates that mammography reports include a specified notice informing patients that dense breast tissue may hide abnormalities and that supplementary screening tests (ultrasound or MRI) may be beneficial depending on individual risk factors.

Makes technical corrections to mammography coverage requirements in three insurance statutes (627.6418, 627.6613, and 641.31095) to clarify that coverage frequency can be determined by "recommendation of the patient's physician" rather than "physician's recommendation."

Applies to accident and health insurance policies, group/blanket/franchise accident and health insurance policies, and health maintenance contracts issued or renewed in Florida.

Takes effect October 1, 2017.
