Defines "violent felony" as a felony listed in s. 775.084(1)(c)1. or s. 948.06(8)(c) for purposes of the Victims of Wrongful Incarceration Compensation Act.

Disqualifies wrongfully incarcerated persons from receiving compensation if they were convicted of or pled guilty to any violent felony before or during their wrongful incarceration.

Restricts compensation for wrongfully incarcerated persons released on parole or community supervision who commit a violent felony resulting in revocation, making them ineligible for any compensation under the act.

Allows full compensation for wrongfully incarcerated persons who commit non-violent violations resulting in parole or community supervision revocation.

Takes effect October 1, 2017.
