Requires physician assistant license renewal to include submission of a completed workforce survey administered in the same manner as physician surveys under Florida law.

Physician assistant workforce surveys must contain the same information required in physician surveys under sections 458.3191 (for MDs) and 459.0081 (for DOs).

Department of Health must report data collected from physician assistant workforce surveys to the boards biennially, beginning July 1, 2018 and every 2 years thereafter.

Department of Health is authorized to adopt rules necessary to implement the physician assistant workforce survey requirements.

Biennial license renewal continues to require a renewal fee not exceeding $500 and acknowledgment of no felony convictions in the previous 2 years.
