Authorizes students to use credits earned from completing registered apprenticeship or preapprenticeship programs (under chapter 446) to satisfy up to one high school graduation credit requirement.

Credits from approved apprenticeship or preapprenticeship programs may be applied toward either paragraph (3)(e) or paragraph (3)(g) graduation requirements.

Requires the State Board of Education to approve and identify which apprenticeship and preapprenticeship programs qualify for credit toward high school graduation.

Effective July 1, 2017.
