Prohibits sexual predators convicted of qualifying offenses from using or operating drones to view or record images of minors at their homes, businesses, schools, child care facilities, parks, playgrounds, or places where children regularly congregate.

Defines qualifying offenses to include kidnapping, human trafficking of minors, sexual assault, child abuse, lewd conduct with minors, and similar offenses in other jurisdictions where the victim was a minor.

Establishes violation of this prohibition as a third-degree felony punishable under Florida's standard felony sentencing provisions.

Adds the new offense to the Criminal Punishment Code's offense severity ranking chart at Level 7, assigning it a third-degree felony classification.

Takes effect October 1, 2017.
