Defines "professional water damage restorer" as any person who performs water damage restoration and "water damage restoration" as water removal, demolition, dehumidification, or other treatment of water damage or water-contaminated matter greater than 10 square feet

Requires the Department of Business and Professional Regulation to license applicants qualified to practice water damage restoration alongside existing mold assessment and mold remediation licensing

Sets licensure qualifications for professional water damage restorers: good moral character, required insurance coverage under section 468.8421, and satisfaction of Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification S500 standards

Applies all prohibitions and penalties from section 468.8419 to professional water damage restorers

Effective July 1, 2017
