Amendments to homeowners' association declarations must contain the full text of the provision being amended, with new words underlined and deleted words struck through, unless the change is so extensive that a "substantial rewording" notation suffices instead.

Nonmaterial errors or omissions in the amendment process do not invalidate an otherwise properly adopted amendment.

Amendments to recorded governing documents become effective upon proper recording in the county public records.

Amendments restricting rental rights apply only to parcel owners who individually consent to the amendment and to owners who acquire title after July 1, 2017.

Effective date is July 1, 2017.
