Notification must include the identity of the potential buyer, the licensee, date and time of nonapproval, prohibiting criteria, and location of attempted purchase or transfer.

Department of Law Enforcement must identify appropriate federal and state agencies in each county to receive nonapproval notifications, and may delay notifications if necessary to avoid compromising ongoing investigations.

Department of Law Enforcement may issue notifications through oral, written, or electronic communication and may aggregate multiple notifications.
