Requires mandatory removal from office for directors or officers charged by information or indictment with felony theft or embezzlement involving association funds or property, with reinstatement if charges are resolved without a finding of guilt.

Establishes fines for directors or officers who knowingly violate association bylaws or chapter provisions: $250 for first violation, $500 for second violation, and $1,000 for third or subsequent violation.

Authorizes the Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes to recall a director or officer upon a third or subsequent violation.

Prevents directors or officers with pending felony theft or embezzlement charges from being appointed or elected to association positions until charges are resolved.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
