Defines "hair restoration or transplant" as a surgical procedure that removes hair follicles from one body location using a hollow punch, robotic instrument, or tissue strip removal and redistributes them to another location on the same body.

Prohibits unlicensed persons from performing hair restoration or transplant procedures or making incisions for such procedures, unless licensed under chapter 458 (physicians) or chapter 459 (osteopathic physicians) or certified under section 464.012 (physician assistants or advanced registered nurse practitioners).

Allows physicians to delegate or supervise advanced registered nurse practitioners and physician assistants in performing hair restoration or transplant services.

Effective July 1, 2017.
