Amends the definition of "home health agency" to include organizations created for the purpose of advertising or promoting providers of home health services, homemaker services, or companion services.

Expands the definition of "organization" to include entities that advertise or promote providers of home health services or services provided by homemakers or companions under part III of Florida Statutes.

Changes the conjunction in the "organization" definition from "or" to a semicolon before the new marketing language, consolidating multiple entity types under one definition.

Maintains the existing exclusion that the term "organization" does not include entities providing services using only volunteers or only individuals related by blood or marriage to the patient or client.

Effective date: July 1, 2017.
