Exempts audit and investigative workpapers, records, reports, reviews, inquiries, and other documentation created by the Chief Inspector General or agency inspectors general from public records disclosure until completion of the audit or investigation or issuance of a final report.

Upon completion of an audit or investigation or issuance of a final report, the materials become public records except for information already exempt or confidential under Florida law or the State Constitution.

Protects the identity of individuals filing complaints under the Whistle-blower's Act unless the inspector general determines disclosure is unavoidable during the audit or investigation.

Applies the Open Government Sunset Review Act to both exemptions, requiring legislative review and reenactment by October 2, 2022, or the exemptions automatically repeal.

Takes effect on the same date as SB 1478 or similar legislation, if adopted in the same legislative session and signed into law.
