Amends section 775.087, F.S. to add a new provision reclassifying offenses committed while possessing a weapon or firearm capable of holding 10 or more rounds of ammunition without reloading, or while possessing a firearm and more than one magazine for that firearm

First degree felonies reclassified to life felonies; second degree felonies to first degree felonies; third degree felonies to second degree felonies under the new provision

Misdemeanors also subject to reclassification: first degree misdemeanors to third degree felonies; second degree misdemeanors to first degree misdemeanors when the high-capacity firearm or multiple magazine provision applies

Reclassified felony offenses are ranked one level above the original offense ranking for purposes of sentencing under the Criminal Punishment Code and incentive gain-time eligibility
