Establishes mandatory 120 community service hours in trauma centers or hospitals for violators of school bus stop laws (s. 316.172(1)(a) or (b)) that cause serious bodily injury or death.

Requires mandatory participation in victim impact panel sessions or department-approved driver improvement courses relating to vulnerable road users for violations of school bus stop laws causing serious bodily injury or death.

Imposes a $1,500 fine for violations of school bus stop laws causing serious bodily injury or death, with driver license suspension for not less than 1 year.

Assigns 6 points under the driver license point system for passing a stopped school bus when causing or resulting in serious bodily injury or death (increased from 4 points for violations not causing injury or death).

Takes effect July 1, 2017 and may be cited as the "Cameron Mayhew Act."
