Creates section 316.02703 of Florida Statutes authorizing the use of dynamic message signs along state highways to post alerts about hit-and-run incidents resulting in serious bodily injury to pedestrians.

Permits alerts to include the suspect vehicle's complete or partial license plate number, make, style, color, and the identity of the suspect.

Defines "hit and run" as an incident where a motor vehicle driver involved in an accident fails to stop at the scene.

Defines "serious bodily injury" as injury involving substantial risk of death, serious permanent disfigurement, protracted loss or impairment of body function, or second or third degree burns or fractures.

Effective July 1, 2017.
