Department of Health must identify all onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems in the state by January 1, 2019, including their locations and other available information.

Department of Health must update its current database with identified systems and generate a report showing the total number of systems statewide, by county, and a statewide map for submission to the Governor and Legislature.

Property sellers must provide prospective purchasers with a conspicuous disclosure summary before or at contract execution if the property contains an onsite sewage treatment and disposal system.

Prospective purchasers must acknowledge in writing receipt of the disclosure summary, which must warn about pollution risks from improperly designed, constructed, or maintained systems.

Bill takes effect October 1, 2017.
