Allows court hearings under s. 787.063 to be closed to the public at the request of human trafficking victims or the Statewide Council on Human Trafficking on their behalf.

Requires redaction or sealing of victims' personal identifying information in court files and online dockets, making such information confidential and exempt from public records requirements.

Exempts personal identifying information of human trafficking victims held by the Statewide Council on Human Trafficking from public records requirements upon victim request.

Both public records exemptions are subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and will automatically repeal on October 2, 2022, unless reenacted by the Legislature.

Takes effect on the same date as SB 972 or similar legislation, if adopted in the same legislative session and becomes law.
