Recognizes the 50th anniversary of Jerusalem's reunification following the 1967 Six-Day War as an occasion to reaffirm Florida Senate's strong support for the State of Israel

Acknowledges Israel's respect for access to holy sites for all peoples since 1967 and notes Israel's peace efforts including the 1979 Egypt peace treaty and 1994 Jordan peace treaty

Recognizes that the Six-Day War left Israel in control over millions of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza, causing trauma and suffering on both sides

Expresses hope that Israel and Palestinian National Authority can resume negotiations on outstanding issues including borders, refugees, security, settlements, and Jerusalem

Directs presentation of the resolution to the President of the United States, Congressional leaders, Florida's federal delegation, and the Israeli Ambassador to the United States
