Amends section 601.10, Florida Statutes to make permanent a public records exemption for nonpublished reports or data related to citrus studies or research conducted, funded, or caused to be conducted by the Department of Citrus.

Removes the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2017 that was subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act, thereby extending the exemption indefinitely.

Maintains confidentiality protections for such nonpublished reports and data under Florida's public records laws and state constitutional provisions.

Effective date is October 1, 2017.
