Proposes constitutional amendments to Article I, Section 8 and Article VIII, Section 5 of the Florida Constitution to exempt active duty servicemembers from firearm waiting period requirements.

Exempts active duty servicemembers from the mandatory 3-day waiting period (excluding weekends and holidays) for handgun purchases at retail, similar to existing exemptions for concealed weapon permit holders.

Exempts active duty servicemembers from county-imposed 3 to 5-day waiting periods and criminal history records checks for firearm sales, while maintaining these requirements for other purchasers.

Amendments must be submitted to Florida voters for approval at the next general election or an earlier special election authorized by law.
