Allows tax collectors to retain a portion of driver license examination fees: $10 for knowledge test retakes and $20 for skills test retakes, minus a general revenue service charge per section 215.20(1)

Redirects driver license reinstatement fees when processed by tax collectors instead of the department: $15 (less service charge) retained by tax collector from $45 suspension reinstatement fee, and $20 (less service charge) retained by tax collector from $75 revocation reinstatement fee

Maintains existing fee allocations to the Highway Safety Operating Trust Fund and General Revenue Fund when reinstatements are processed by the department rather than tax collectors

Preserves additional fees of $130 for violations involving section 316.193 or refusal to submit to breath/blood/urine tests, and $180 for convictions under sections 817.234(8)-(9) or 817.505, both deposited to the Highway Safety Operating Trust Fund

Takes effect July 1, 2018
