Imposes a $10 fee on bail granted to defendants charged with drug and alcohol-related offenses, including violations of sections 316.193 (DUI), 327.35 (BUI), 856.011, 856.015, and chapter 893 (drug offenses)

Requires court clerks to collect the fee when bail is posted and deposit proceeds into the Department of Law Enforcement Operating Trust Fund

Directs the Department of Law Enforcement to use collected funds to provide grants to law enforcement agencies in counties with 50,000 or fewer unincarcerated persons for drug enforcement activities

Eligible grant uses include salaries for investigators, equipment and supplies purchases, and training for law enforcement and fire rescue personnel responding to drug trafficking victims and manufacturing sites

Takes effect October 1, 2018
