Creates section 39.6021, F.S. to establish case planning procedures for incarcerated parents involved in child welfare cases.

Requires the Department of Children and Families to obtain information from incarceration facilities about how parents can participate in case planning and access available services, except when reunification is not being offered.

Mandates that incarcerated parents be included in case planning, receive copies of case plans, and comply with facility procedures to access services and maintain contact with their children.

Requires case plans to be amended if a parent becomes incarcerated after an initial plan is developed and the incarceration impacts the child's permanency, including potential changes to visitation, services, or permanency goals.

Takes effect July 1, 2018.
