Amends Florida Statutes section 408.0361 to create exceptions from volume requirements for hospitals seeking Level I adult cardiovascular services programs

Hospitals located more than 100 road miles from the nearest Level II cardiovascular services program may reduce diagnostic cardiac catheterization volume requirement from 300 to 100 procedures in a 12-month period

Hospitals more than 100 road miles away may alternatively meet requirements by discharging or transferring at least 300 patients with principal diagnosis of ischemic heart disease in a 12-month period

Hospitals beyond 100 road miles may extend the patient transfer time protocol requirement beyond 60 minutes if they have a written transfer agreement with a Level II program that accounts for clinical conditions, road and weather conditions, and ambulance service viability
