Increases Florida Building Commission membership from 11 to 27 members appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate.

Adds nine new member categories including representatives from public education, green building industry, natural gas distribution, Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services' Office of Energy, and persons with disabilities.

Expands municipal and district code enforcement officials from one to three members, with one required to be a fire official.

Adds one county codes enforcement official member and one Department of Financial Services representative as new positions.

Effective date is July 1, 2018.
