Creates the Alternative Treatment Options for Veterans Pilot Program within the Department of Veterans' Affairs for a 2-year period.

Department shall contract with individuals, nonprofits, state universities, or Florida College System institutions to provide alternative treatments to veterans certified with traumatic brain injury or posttraumatic stress disorder by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or Armed Forces.

Defines "alternative treatment" as a therapeutic service not part of standard medical care by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs but supported by at least one peer-reviewed scientific or medical study showing positive effects on traumatic brain injury or posttraumatic stress disorder.

Alternative treatments must be provided under the direction and supervision of individuals licensed under specified Florida Statutes chapters covering medical professions.

Contracted entities must report annually by January 1 to the department on treatments provided, number of veterans served, and treatment outcomes; department reports findings to Governor and Legislature by March 1 each year; program expires June 30, 2020.
