Amends Florida Statute 190.012 to require community development districts to obtain a just valuation from a property appraiser before acquiring property that includes real property or is permanently affixed to real property.

The valuation requirement applies regardless of the acquisition method used, whether through bonds, special assessments, ad valorem taxes, fees, or cash.

The property appraiser's valuation must conform to the requirements of Florida Statute 193.011.

Effective date is July 1, 2018.
